The presence of International Affairs group of the university at the 25th meeting of senior experts of the G5 member countries in the field of health and the first meeting of the Blood Transfusion managers of the G5 member countries
On Tuesday February 14, 2023 following the official invitation of international affairs of the relevant ministry, Dr. Sharif Kashani accompanied by Dr. Kiandokht Ghanati, Director of Research-Educational Affairs of the International Affairs and administer of the office of Iran-France Medical -Scientific cooperation, and Ms. Vatanparvar the Head of the Academic Relations development of the International Affairs participated in the 25th meeting of senior experts of the G5 member countries in the field of health and also they were present at the first meeting of the Blood Transfusion managers of the G5 member countries .
This meeting was held with the presence of representatives of Afghanistan, Iraq, Pakistan, Tajikistan, World Health Organization and ambassadors based in Tehran and continued for 3 days.
Dr. Niknam, the Head of International Affairs of the Ministry of Health, Treatment and Medical Training, was responsible for the programs of the secretariat and the G5 meeting, along with Dr. Bahram Ainullahi, the Minister of Health, Treatment and Medical Training, Mr. Mustafa Jamali, the CEO (Chief executive officer) of Blood Transfusion Institute, Mr. Hossein Ali Shahriari, Director of the Health and Treatment Committee of the Consultative Assembly, were among the guests of this meeting.
One of the goals of organizing this meeting is to recognize the capacities of the member countries and benefit from the facilities of the World Health Organization. Among other goals of this meeting are unification of systems, experience interactions, empowerment of diagnostic laboratorial net, cooperation in the educational fields and also providing the neighboring countries who are G5 member with the Iran’s educational facilities in order to ameliorate fighting against diseases that have the possibility of being rampant in Iran.
